Both films preloaded and playing. Tap to pause.
| Dimension | Grokbot demo | The Induction (concept) |
|---|---|---|
| STORY | One bot + placeholders | A governed fleet — org reveals itself beat by beat |
| CHOICES | 12 app tiles + 5 prompts | ≤3 per screen, advanced tiers tucked away |
| GUARDRAILS | "Keep me brief" preference | AUT-0..3 ladder signed first — limits are the product |
| AGENTS | "CEO" + 2 unnamed bots | 6 reactors + 4 monitors + 2 hosts, sealed capability cards |
| PROGRESS | Chat scrollback | Goal→Receipt spine — position always visible |
| PROOF | None | Live receipts at every seal |
The flow, beat by beat
One spine across both editions; Liquid Spine canvas in Next, Ink & Scroll chrome in Fable.
Ignition — the harness wakes
0:00–0:09Obsidian canvas. One particle vessel ignites and settles into a clean 0.82 Hz oscillation — the harness heartbeat. One line beneath: "Twelve of you are about to work together." Nothing else moves yet.
The Contract — limits first, always
0:09–0:18Before any agent is named, Cris signs the four-rung autonomy ladder (HL-07). Sealing it mints the first receipt. Grokbot hides guardrails behind preferences — the harness puts them on stage.
The Roster — twelve seats, one take
0:18–0:27Six reactors, four monitors, two hosts — revealed one at a time: particle sigil forms, capability card unrolls. Whole tile is the tap target (Fitts). Never a wall of names.
Monitoring ring — 24/7 residents:
First Quest — A-52 issues your first canon
0:27–0:36The onboarding cell (A-52 P0W3RQU3ST) delivers four quest vessels — your rulings become the tenant's first canon. Each seals with a receipt; they arrive half-sealed (endowed progress).
Constants
Ratified or the engine stays silent (Q-06).
Blocklist
Words this tenant never says (Q-05).
Tool math
Figures computed, never composed (Q-09).
Holdout
Scored once, per unlock phrase (Q-10).
Host binding — the 0.82 Hz handshake
0:36–0:45The always-on host binds with a live receipt: heartbeat locked, route served, reserve named. Hardware gets a seat only when it runs a lane (HL-02).
On screen
- Host card: A-53 C0RT3X — AceMagic mini-PC, nightly seat
- Reserve: A-54 MacBook — mobile deck + reserve lane
- Heartbeat 0.82 Hz, measured live
Receipt
Deck reveal — your receipt of standing
0:45–0:54Everything sealed lands on one deck — then the harness asks for the first goal. One field. The ending is the hand-off.
The Induction, Ivory
Fable keeps every beat but renders in calm ivory — wax seals instead of particles, editorial instead of console.
Same spine, different skin
Ignition becomes a lit lamp; the Contract a wax-sealed ladder; the Roster unrolls as illuminated manuscript tiles; quest vessels are wax-sealed scroll cases; host binding a candle-lit pendulum; the Deck reveal a broadsheet front page that prints your receipt of standing.

Fable 0.3-alpha
- Same beats, ivory skin — Ink & Scroll chrome, wax-seal affordances
- Starter workflow slot — quest vessels replace the placeholder
Shared
- Receipts everywhere — every seal emits a gate-event row
- Phone parity — beats compress to the phone-oversight layout
